Greg Michaels Rhythm Guitars/Vocals Greg is an award winning veteran songwriter and musician of the Detroit music scene, and the founding member of the group. A talented songwriter and guitarist, Greg began writing at the age of twelve, and his songs touch the listener's hearts through catchy melodies and inspiring lyrics. He recently won the Canadian Trucker Radio award for his songwriting on "Just Another Day", which landed a recording session in Nashville and airplay on Canadian Trucker Radio. His unique vocal style also adds an additional edge to the REDHILL sound. |

Heather Gray Vocalist Heather began singing with dad, drummer, Bob Michalski, who was signed through Motown's Rare Earth records with the Power of Zeus band at the the tender age of 6. She has been singing professionally for 20 years with several Detroit-Metro area bands and now with REDHILL. She has won several singing contests which gave her the opportunity to perform the National Anthem for APBA Gold Cup Races (Thunderfest) and the Detroit Grand Prix. Heather is also the background vocalist for National Recording Artist & Detroit Favorite Alan Turner & the Steel Horse Band, whose involvement with the Lili Claire Foundation strikes a personal note with Heather who is a single mother of three boys, one of which has Down Syndrome. Her passion, stage presence and dynamic voice has taken REDHILL to another level of wow and is sure to help REDHILL soar into greatness!! |

Chip Kipps Lead Guitar/Vocals Chip has been performing in the Detroit area for the last 25 years. From the punk pro-type "CIA" to the jazz/rock of Ralph Koziarskis "Expedition" to the soulfull sounds of Stewart Francke. Chip studied music theory with George "Sax” Benson (a Detroit legend). He brings to Redhill a diverse style of guitar playing, grabbing influences from all over the musical map. When you see REDHILL live, you'll see why Chip is known as the "the Grease"... |

Freddie August Bass/Sax/Keys How could we go wrong with Freddie? He's a musical geek in a cowboy hat! Freddie has performed all over Michigan with Benny and the Jets and has opened for many famous acts including but not limited to Eddie Money, Mitch Ryder, Confederate Railroad, Mountain, Rare Earth, Kentucky Headhunters,Big Brother, Holding Company, The OJ's, Morris Day and the Time, Alto Reed, Howling Diablos, and members of Bob Seger's Silver Bullet band. Freddie has performed with REDHILL at many televised Detroit events in the past, and we're very happy to have him aboard! |

Hessie Mae Hessie Mae is a diverse musician who fiddles as well as plays classical violin. Hessie started playing violin at the age of 8, and has been playing and teaching professionally for nearly 25 years. Originally from New Jersey, Hessie brings her "jersey-style" humor to the mix, as well as adding a unique fiddle/mandolin/vocal sound to this original Detroit Country band. Hessie Mae has recently performed violin with Aretha Franklin at the Fox Theatre, as well as backing up "Il Divo", Sarah Brightman, and even Regis Philbin in their traveling orchestras. |
